This in itself is a good enough reason for me when it comes to the many delays. Personally I will keep promoting and waiting for Agloco to get things right this time. I don't want to be a part of a company that will die out do to it's lack of planning.
Brian of Agloco made this comment on the company blog and I will say it makes all the sense in the world to me. Here is what he said:
"There is uncertainty here and I don’t expect you to necessarily be ‘happy’ with any delay or lack of an exact release date. Still, the question remains:
Are you a customer or are you a founder?
If you’re a customer who just wants to collect his monthly check from AGLOCO, then I would expect you just want us to ‘get it done’ fast, not caring how or why, so that you can begin collecting that monthly check.
However, if you are a founder, you have invested (if not your money, then your time and effort) into the business and want it to succeed by doing things well. You are living both the high points and the low points of the company, the troubles and the uncertainty, and your reward for this is that you get some of the financial upside a startup company has to offer as well."
I have started several businesses of my own and if you have done the same then Brian's comment will make sense to you. As a founder or owner as Agloco wants us to be, we need to ride the waves of starting a new business. I can't begin to tell you all the blood, sweat and tears that I have shed starting my businesses. It never comes easy. You cannot start a business over night and open the doors the next day. It takes a ton of work to make it happen and happen the way you want. Agloco wants us to be a part of the building process which I think is very cool.
I understand the negative comments and the reasons behind them. As Brian stated if you are in this to just get a check then time is standing still and you have valid concerns but if you want to be a founder of Agloco then you will take the good with the bad. I can pretty much guarantee that this business needs to be set up right or it will fail. So what is the point of pushing Agloco?
Agloco take the time you need to make us founders rich. I want to be a part of a company that is working hard to make its founders happy they hung in there.
I'm hanging in there because when Agloco takes off I will be in the front.
Thanks Agloco for this opportunity.
